By now we all know about Brian's crazy sleeping habits. I keep expecting myself to get annoyed with them, but I usually end up laughing way too hard to be mad. Last night I was watching a movie on my laptop in bed, hoping that it would help me fall asleep. I was turned away from Brian so it wouldn't wake him up. He'd been asleep for about an hour when I feel him moving around. I figured he was just moving around to get more comfortable. I was wrong...
I roll over to see Brian, eyes wide open, holding a basketball.
Um...What? Seriously he is so weird. Where did it even come from?
The conversation then goes like this:
Marcie: Um, Brian. What are you doing?
Brian: Just looking at this ball. I wonder where it came from. Who keeps bringing us these balls?
Marcie: That's actually your basketball.
Brian: Oh really? It's really nice.
Marcie: It is really nice.
He then proceeds to put the basketball on the floor and fall back to sleep within seconds.
I really do like that he is so random in his sleep. My favorite part of it all is that the next morning I always ask, "Do you know what you did last night?" He never ever remembers. Then I get to share the story while laughing hysterically.

This is such a great story. Justin talks in his sleep a lot... sometimes in Spanish, but nothing as funny as Brian. That story is awesome.

HA HA HA. I love sleep talking stories. Mainly becuase the Winnie family is well known for this. Brandon and Robyn have taken over for our sleep talking stories.

Hilarious Marcie!!! I love having a sleepover with Ty every night. He is occasionally pretty random and I love it! That is too funny! Tyler says, "Brian, you are a retard." And your babies will be adorable!

My college roommate kept a notebook next to her bed so she could write down the things I said in my sleep. I had always had my own room, so I never knew I talked in my sleep until then.
I like to think that I no longer do that, but Allen sleeps so deeply that he wouldn't know--though he tells everyone about how I begged, "Please read me some Robert Frost poetry!" when I was coming off drugs after surgery.
Some people talk about basketballs, some people talk about classical literature . . . I guess I'm just so naturally intelligent and cultured. :)
